Top Up TV’s live programming cut back again

It looks like Top Up TV is reducing their £7.99 non-Anytime service even further with the Discovery channels and Cartoon Network disappearing from the live line-up in February. This puts the live content to:

UKTV Gold (4pm - 1am)
UKTV Style (1pm - 4pm)
British Eurosport (7.30am - 10am)
TCM (7pm - 1am)

It’s rumoured that this is to make room for subscription sport channel Setanta. TUTV has also stopped selling the basic £7.99 service to new customers, making Top Up TV Anytime their only product.

  1. Brekkie Boy Says:

According to http://www.deeteetee.co.uk, TCM is leaving as well next week, with TUTV cutting the price for existing customers down to £4.99 for about 15 hours of programmes a day - probably about the same as the TUTV Anytime service now offers!

No news on the space - perhaps ABC1 is going 24/7?
