Top Up TV has today released a hotfix to overcome a problem affecting their Thomson Top Up TV Anytime boxes.
Their boxes have been hit by the recent Freeview transmitter updates, which created a problem for users who performed a channel rescan.
v2.93 has to be downloaded manually, via Menu > 4 > 6. Then press 1397 and scroll down to option 17 “Force next OAD”. The download should get to you within an hour

Help have tried this fix and its not working. Have most channels except any ITV or Channel 4. Do you leave box on or off once you get to option 17. And when I press option 17 its says pass – is this correct.

I’m having the same problem – phoned them several times and each time they tell us to wait a couple of hours etc and it should happen.
We can’t get any other new version except 2.91
Please help

hi i have got a Thomson Top Up TV Anytime boxe and i looked at my software version and it is 2.99 is that up to date or not thanks.

Got a top up box from Argos on 23/02/2008 , stopped working on the 25/02/2009, contacted top up tv and they said warranty is up so Tuff

software version 3.59 now available, seems to fix the annoying ff 64x bug amongst others, but still testing
