    Ahh – how sad – The Halifax has announced that Howard Brown, the smug singing bloke from the cheesy Halifax ads, won’t be singing on screen any more. Apparently, something to do with not wanting to show to show a cheecky chappy at during these credit-crunching depressing times. Can I stop smirking now?
