BBC iPlayer meets iPhone any day now

Posted on 30 January 201131 January 2011 By FrequencyCast No Comments on BBC iPlayer meets iPhone any day now

BBC iPlayer LogoGreat news for those with an iPhone or iPad… at long last, the wait for the BBC iPlayer app is nearly over.

According to insiders, we can expect the official release of the long-awaited BBC iPlayer mobile application in February 2011.

Expect the app to hit silly download numbers when it becomes available, but remember, watching TV over a 3G connection can get costly from a mobile – play safe, and where possible, use wi-fi.

Sorry, but as yet, no news on an iPlayer app for Android devices…
