FrequencyCast Online Streaming Station

FrequencyCast is an online radio service from the UK covering tech news. We're available as a podcast, but many may not realise that we also offer a streaming radio service, so that people can tune in via an Internet radio

FrequencyCast Radio Station:

Internet RadioFrequencyCast is available as an audio podcast. So that we can also be heard on streaming radio products and online, we also broadcast as a streaming radio service, using a Shoutcast server.

If you have an Internet radio, such as one of the models from Pure, Revo, Goodmans or Roberts, you may be able to find us as a radio station.

On this page, we have information on how to listen to our stream.

Streaming Radio FAQ:

Q. I have the Shoutcast Radio application for the iPhone, but I can't find FrequencyCast in the Shoutcast database listing. Why can't I listen to FrequencyCast on my iPhone?

  • You can. Our streaming station is available on the iPhone using the Shoutcast application - but it may be hidden on your iPhone. There is an option to exclude high-quality stations from the Shoutcast directory listings. As we broadcast in 128k (higher than some other stations), you need to set the iPhone to allow high-quality stations. To do this, go to Settings > Shoutcast, and set "Station Listings: Allow hi-bit streams" to ON.
