MP3 Player FM Transmitters now legal

Posted on 28 December 2006 By FrequencyCast No Comments on MP3 Player FM Transmitters now legal

FM TransmitterGot an MP3 player, and want to listen to your sounds or podcasts in your car? Well, now you can (legally!). In December 2006, the UK Government finally agreed that previously-banned FM transmitters can now be used legally. The transmitters plug into your MP3 player’s headphone socket, and transmit the output to a nearby FM radio.

There’s a range of FM Transmitters, priced from upwards of £10. You can find a selection at AdvancedMP3players and
Play.com.
