Recycle your old mobiles

Posted on 4 January 200723 February 2010 By FrequencyCast 1 Comment on Recycle your old mobiles

Got a new mobile for Christmas, then why not do a good deed for charity…

There’s a scheme called Fonebak that takes old unwanted mobiles, and refurbishes them for use in underdeveloped countries. The countries can really benefit from mobile communication, where a landline infrastructure isn’t in place. If you have an old unwanted mobile phone, you can recycle them by taking the phone into a number of retailers and charity shops that are backing this initiative. You can get hold of Freepost envelopes to allow you to send off phones for free.

Do your bit, check the back of your desk drawer, and send off that old phone to help others… you’ll get a nice warm glow!

More details at www.fonebak.com/
