ITV Play to be pulled
Games channel ITV Play is due to be pulled from Freeview and Sky from 15th March, to be replaced by ITV2 +1.
At the start of March, ITV was the subject of some controversy arounding premium rate call lines. All premium rate activities were suspended in March. It’s expected that ITV will find a new use for this channel later in 2007.
please bring back men and motors..its a brilliant channel
what use is ITV2+1 to us on freeview? Bring back men and motors!
If not that why not a dedicated ITV Movies channel or a dedicated ITV Sport channel?

Thank God for that, I am so glad ITV Play has gone, I only wish all the quiz programmes would vanish! Men & Motors was brilliant, PLEASE BRING IT BACK

Surely ITV4 has replaced the “men and motors” channel? I thought ITV4 was meant to have programmes that appealed to men?
I have emailed ITV eairlyer this week and asked if men & motors coming back to free view, and they said for the mean time we have to have itv2+1. They said M&m could be a possiblites in the near future of 2007. Fingers cross.
Arrgh. i was jumping up and down when they axed men and motors. The Sweeny and the proffesionals, cult TV at its best. Oh yeah Miami vice too, personnaly ive no objection to ITV play (i used to love solving the anagrams in 5 seconds sometimes), but to chop 1 Channel for another seems silly. I hear it was funded by commersials but im not sure ITV are the owners they just took over the airspace. Bring back Men and Motors or im going to wear my socks for a month running and post them to you.!!!!
I have to agree M&M was great. Far too many quiz channels,while they were being investigated it was great as most were taken off air,now they are all back on. There’s a programme on next week BBC1 Panorama I think it’s 21.00 watch it you will be shocked. It’s all about the scams behind ‘quiz shows’
