Hold on tight, black hole this Wednesday

Posted on 8 September 2008 By FrequencyCast No Comments on Hold on tight, black hole this Wednesday

Time to put you affairs in order, as this week, a bunch of CERN scientists press the big green “GO” button on the Large Hadron Collider.

They’re hoping to create the God Particle (aka the Higgs Boson particle). Cast your votes now… the world will end, or we’ve flushed 5 billion quid down a large hole under Switzerland.

If you’d like to know more… BBC Radio 4 will be covering the Big Bang Day from 830 on Wednesday the 10th September.

Good luck everyone!

By the way, is there a Small Hadron Collider?
