I have some news for you.
The PLT devices used by BT to use house wiring to connect their digital box (BT Vision) to the BT Home Hub is not legal and should never have been certified as being legal because it causes heavy interference over a wide range of radio frequencies.
Ofcom are presently looking in to this and The Radio Society of Great Britain are vigorously perusing the matter through both Ofcom and Trading Standards. These claims also apply to other manufacturers of PLT devices.

    Thanks,

    Paul.
