Posted on 1 March 201125 February 2011 By FrequencyCast No Comments on Olympus VN-8500PC Voice Recorder Review

Olympus VN-8500 Voice RecorderWe’ve just completed our review of the handy dandy little Olympus VN-8500PC, as featured briefly in Show 61.

This lightweight recorder stores up to 420 hours of audio, and runs for up to 51 hours on one set of batteries. It has built-in noise reduction filters and voice activated recording.

The clever bit though, is the speech-to-text. Record in some audio, connect it to your PC, then use the supplied Dragon Naturally Speaking software to transcribe your voice into computer-editable text.
